New Honda HR-V Gets Styling Upgrades

Subcompact crossovers are swiftly developing their own fan base among drivers who want something a little more spacious than your average hatchback with the convenience and fuel economy of something smaller than a crossover. The new Honda HR-V is targeting this new market, with some style upgrades for 2018 that are sure to bring attention to its sporty, sleek design.

new Honda HR-V for 2018On select models of the Honda HR-V, there is a new Aegean Blue Metallic paint color available, along with new wheel designs for a more athletic appearance. The new HR-V will also pack better performance and efficiency into its design with the 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine and standard Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Drivers will also benefit from the second-generation HR-V’s Magic Seat technology, which allows you to fold the rear seat flat for up to 100 cubic feet of cargo space. The Magic Seat tech is returning for the 2018 model year; it was introduced last year when the nameplate entered its second generation. In fact, Honda saw HR-V sales spike by 30 percent following the introduction of the new generation.
