Car Detailing Tips

Car detailing tips

When it comes to customizing and detailing your car, there are lots of things you can do. But it’s not always easy. Here are some car detailing tips that go beyond the surface.

Compressed Air

Spray compressed air over your interior carpet to get all of the dirt and dust out that might be settled into corners.

Baby Powder

Believe it or not, you can clean oil-based stains and grease streaks off of your upholstery with baby powder.  Sprinkle it directly on any spots and let it sit for half an hour before dusting it off. Then, vacuum the same area to get the powder out.

Cotton Swabs

These little guys can be powerful on dirt and debris! Use them to get to hard spots like dashboard vents or other crevices and buttons.

Rubbing Alcohol

Have any pesky old window stickers or bumper stickers? Stick your fingernail underneath to peel it off and then rub away the residue with a cotton rag dipped in rubbing alcohol.

Toothbrush

You don’t only have to use a toothbrush for your teeth! A toothbrush is great to get at the dirt in your wheels, specific in your spokes or wheel patterns.

Now detail that car and get it looking fresh for springtime!
