A peek inside the 2016 Accord!

The Honda Accord is due for a mid-cycle facelift for 2016, and while there are a few minor adjustments to the exterior, most of the new goodies are on the inside. That’s to be expected, though – current sales numbers say Honda sells over 300,000 Accords a year, so there’s no need to fix what isn’t broken. Most of the changes were made to the 2016 Honda Accord technology.

The exterior changes include minor details such as an additional accent strip along the nose and narrower headlights. To give the 2016 Accord a more modern look, LED fog lamps and taillights were added, plus a newly remolded rear and 18-inch alloy wheels.

However, technology updates include a brand new entertainment system. The system offers a USB port that allows you to easily sync your smartphone. Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are compatible. To top it all off, the menu is accessible via a 7-inch touchscreen display. Other new technology features are more safety-oriented. Driver Assist tech such as emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning come standard with the new Accord.

The ongoing success of the Accord is nothing to scoff at, and the 2016 Honda Accord technology update updates to keep the car up-to-date and modern will ensure that it continues its popularity will continue into the next model year.
