Five Arkansas Razorbacks Taken in the NFL Draft

Everyone knows how stacked the Arkansas Razorbacks have been as of late. That’s why it comes as no surprise that there were five Arkansas Razorbacks taken in the NFL Draft this year.

Hunter Henry Tight End – San Diego Chargers

Henry was awarded the John Mackey Award, given to the best college tight end. This no doubt helped secure his position on the Chargers roster.

Jonathan Williams Running Back – Buffalo Bills

Williams’ missed the 2015 season because of injury, but he earned 1190 yards and 12 touchdowns during a stellar junior campaign in 2014. Buffalo hopes Williams gets back to full strength and adds more depth to a loaded backfield.

Alex CollinsRunning Back – Seattle Seahawks

The versatile Collins was projected to go in the third round but fell to Seattle on the last day. With Marshawn Lynch’s retirement, Collins has a chance to earn carries for a stout team.

Brandon Allen  Quarterback – Jacksonville Jaguars

In many ways, Collins was the second best quarterback to ever play for the Razorbacks. He left with the second best completion number at .583.

Sebastian Tretola Offensive Guard – Tennessee Titans

Tretola was a standout for the Razorbacks. This very talented lineman committed only one penalty in 901 plays. He also led the team with 75 knockdowns.
