The 2018 Edmunds CES Tech Driven Awards saw big wins for Honda, which took two categories: the Most Innovative Car of the Year for the Honda Clarity and the Most Innovative SUV of the Year for the CR-V.

The CES Tech Driven Awards is a new annual awards series that focuses on automotive products available at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which takes place every January.

CES Tech Driven Awards: The Honda CR-V wins Most Innovative SUV of the Year Winners of the Tech Driven Awards will be made available the year they’re shown at the CES—Edmunds wanted to focus on fully realized products consumers can actually buy soon rather than far-off concepts.

There are seven categories that make up the CES Tech Driven Awards, including Most Innovative Car, SUV, and Truck, as well as Most Innovative Automaker, Driver Assist Feature, and Infotainment System, all categories that are important to drivers today.

Edmunds recognized the Honda Clarity as the Consumer Electronics Show’s Most Innovative Car because of its flexible powertrain options, which include fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell, suiting every kind of eco-friendly driver. The CR-V was awarded Most Innovative SUV thanks to its unique combination of exceptional ride quality, affordable advanced safety features, and class-leading fuel economy.
