New Honda Civic Type R Price

Enthusiasts have been begging for a new Honda Civic Type R and now the Japanese automaker is finally giving them their wish. The all-new 2017 Civic Type R serves as the brand’s, if not the industry’s, hottest hatchback. Signature styling and a performance-driven engine go hand-in-hand in the new model. As one would expect, though, incredible performance and style come at a price.

New Honda Civic Type R

Honda hasn’t released definite pricing information on the upcoming hot hatch just yet, but it looks like a window sticker made it online. According to the sticker, it looks like the 2017 Honda Civic Type R starts at an unconfirmed $33,900 MSRP.* That kind of price tag sets it up to compete with the likes of Subaru WRX STi, another performance variant.

The Civic Type R boasts race-inspired front bucket seats designed to keep passengers in their seats while cornering. Three driving modes offer retuned suspension, throttle, and steering settings. But, the real heart of the hatchback lies beneath the hood.

Drivers will enjoy the heart-stopping thrill of the road thanks to the standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers a massive 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

To top it all off, the 2017 Honda Civic Type R rolls out on 20-inch black alloy wheels.

We here at Floyd Traylor Honda can’t wait for the new Civic Type R to hit roadways!

Fun Summer Activities

Having fun under the summer sun doesn’t mean having to travel across the country! There’s plenty of activities to take part in both around the house and in your local community. We here at Floyd Traylor Honda have a few recommended fun summer activities that everyone will enjoy!

Help the Elderly

Like winter, summer is particularly harsh on the elderly, especially if they have any work to be done outdoors. Take a few hours out of your week to assist an elderly neighbor. Doing so can help them enjoy the summer as well as leave you feeling good all season long. Mow lawns, pull weeds, lay mulch, or simply help move front porch furniture. A little goes a long way in the summer heat!

Have a Picnic

Packing a blanket and picnic basket full of delicious food and heading to a local park for a picnic is a great way to start the summer. You could even potentially start a new summer tradition! Once at your desired location, try to find a shady spot, such as beneath a large tree, to unpack your basket. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Fun Summer Activities

Drink Lemonade

It doesn’t take much to get into the spirit of summer. Sipping a nice, cool glass of lemonade while sitting on your front porch, is a simple way to enjoy the season, too.
